Romans 8-- Part 5

Do you struggle with prayer? Maybe you don't pray often, or maybe you have trouble focusing, or maybe you feel like you don't know enough of the situation to pray well. In any of these circumstances, we have a Helper! And He doesn't just help us pray. He will faithfully bring us to faith and then to glorification! We were given the Son as a sacrifice for our sins, and we were given the Spirit as the guarantee of our inheritance. The Father has already given us the greatest gift! =)

In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.
Ephesians 1:13-14

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
Romans 8:26-32
